Our hens are almost completely free range, which means they are allowed as much space to roam on the farmstead as they like. They also scratch around in the grass for bugs, seeds, and berries. That means not only are our chickens happier, but their eggs taste better and are better for you. According to independent testing done by Mother Earth News, free range eggs contain:
• 1/3 less cholesterol
• 1/4 less saturated fat
• 2/3 more vitamin A
• 2 times more omega-3 fatty acids
• 3 times more vitamin E
• 7 times more beta carotene
